Kenneth Walker of Cortez spoke on a panel Feb. 1-2 at the American Indian Studies Association national conference in Tempe, Arizona.
The panel, titled “Upsetting Settler Nationalism: Fort Lewis College Native American and Indigenous Studies Student Scholars,” gave participants the opportunity to speak about their independent research. Walker’s research was titled “History ReCycled: Looking at the Past to Change the Future.”
