La Plata County Colorado State University extension will offer a food safety training class for Cottage Foods producers from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
The training will cover understanding eligible products, labeling requirements and improving business and marketing skills. Nicole Clark, R.D., will lead the training.
