The Durango Cowboy Parade, the largest motorless parade in Colorado, took place Saturday.
Parade entries were judged and trophies were awarded to the winners in the these categories:
- Most Impressive Horse Entry: Back Country Horsemen.
- Most Impressive Mule/Donkey Entry: Ft. Carson Mounted Color Guard.
- Most Fashionable Animal: Durango Fiesta Royalty.
- Best Spirit of the Old West: Ft. Carson Mounted Color Guard.
- Best Family Entry: Dexter, the Wonder Dog of Ouray.
- Best Walking Entry: Ballet Folklorico.
- Best Wagon Entry: The Victorians/Durango Joes Coffee.
- Best Youth Entry: Southwest Silverados.
- Silver Spur Award (Judges’ Choice): The Victorians.
