Colorado Parks and Wildlife will offer a free seminar on turkey hunting from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, April 2 in Pagosa Springs at the Archuleta County Extension Center at the county fairgrounds, 344 U.S. Highway 84.
The event is designed to encourage, and instruct novice turkey hunters to participate in Colorado's hunting heritage.
Topics to be covered in the seminar include: turkey biology, hunting strategies, equipment needed for turkey hunting, calling and safety.
The seminar is open to anyone interested in turkey hunting. No experience or equipment is necessary.
