La Plata County will conduct an asphalt overlay project on East Animas Road (County Road 250) from Monday though Oct. 9.
The project will begin at the intersection of Hidden Falls Lane and continue north for about 5.5 miles to Trimble Lane (County Road 252).
Crews will work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Traffic may be reduced to one lane while work is in progress. Drivers should anticipate delays of up to 10 minutes, but an effort will be made to keep traffic flowing smoothly. Drivers should allow extra travel time and proceed with caution through the work zone for their safety and that of work crews.
