I so feel Mike Sigman’s pain (Letters, Herald, July 14) for all that the “anti-American left” Democrats have done to supress all of the reams of statistics out there that fortify the racist rantings of Donald Trump.
Crime statistics by race or immigrant status are all over the place. And crime rates for immigrants – legal or otherwise – are less than the general population.
Oh, and by the way, I am no less of an American than Sigman. So, I will kindly thank him to stop referring to me and my fellow Democratic-voting Americans as anti-American, as though he feels free to use that terminology as some sort of dog whistle for “traitor.”
