The CSU Extension Office in La Plata County will host a presentation from Dan Hobbs, a Southern Colorado chile grower, “Powering Up with Peppers: An Intro to Hot and Sweet Peppers,” from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday via Zoom.
The presentation will provide an introduction to hot and sweet pepper production and seed saving for farms and gardens in the Southwest.
Hobbs has 30 years of agricultural and rural development experience and currently serves as director of the Rocky Mountain Farmers Union Cooperative Development Center.
