Professors Black’s and DiRussos’ column on the destructive effects of cutting scientific research budgets (Herald, Mar. 16) deserves wide distribution.
These two scientists and educators presented their opinion based upon hard facts: Our collective health as a nation is in danger and U.S. leadership and cooperation in science is being dismantled.
