A 16-year-old driver collided with a 52-year-old man near Trimble Lane
A cyclist is in serious condition after he was hit by a vehicle Sunday afternoon on U.S. Highway 550, near Trimble Lane.
Colorado State Patrol Cpt. Adam Driscoll said the cyclist, Neil Hannum, 52, of Durango sustained significant injuries as a result of the collision, which occurred around noon.
Driscoll said no one in the car – a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander – was injured. Driscoll said no charges have been filed, and the incident is still under investigation.
“We’re still figuring out what happened according to all the statements,” Driscoll said Sunday evening.
