The Durango Area Association of Realtors Helping Hand Community Service Committee is accepting scholarship applications.

Qualifying applicants include graduating high school seniors and GED graduates of a state-approved programs in La Plata or San Juan counties who are pursuing a college or technical degree.

Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Preference is given to those who validate need for financial assistance.

For applications, contact a local high school counseling office or email DAAR staff at staff@durangoassnofrealtors.com with the subject line: “2018 Scholarship Application.”

Application deadline is April 30 and recipients will be notified after May 8.
