Delayed start Tuesday for Durango High School ninth and 12th graders

It is testing day for 10th and 11th graders

Ninth and 12th graders at Durango High School get to sleep in Tuesday as 10th and 11th graders take the SAT and Preliminary SAT tests.

Durango School District 9-R announced the delay Monday. The test takers should arrive at the regular school start time, and the rest will start their school day at 12:30 p.m.

In addition to the regularly scheduled buses, the district will run a revised bus schedule for the ninth and 12th graders to arrive at about 12:15 p.m.

This is the second year the district has had the revised schedule on test day, 9-R spokeswoman Julie Popp said.

For more information, call the school at 259-1630.
