Eight runs in the first two innings weren’t enough for the Durango High School softball team.

DHS gave up eight runs in the fourth inning to Delta High School to lose 11-10 at the Delta Invite.

It was the Demons’ third loss to the Bulldogs in three games this season.

Five different players drove in runs for Delta.

DHS (4-4) statistics weren’t immediately available.

The Demons will play two games in Delta on Saturday.

They’ll face Rifle at 9 a.m. and Eagle Valley at 1 p.m.
