The local chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma will hold a membership and informational event from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at the Liberty School, 3107 Western Ave.
All women educators from Durango, Bayfield and Ignacio are invited to attend. The purpose of the event is to learn what membership in Delta Kappa Gamma provides.
Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is a professional honor society of top women educators from around the world promoting excellence in education. Established in 1929, DKG is just for women and provides members with valuable professional and personal growth opportunities, including leadership development.
