Tickets for the Demolition Derby are now on sale for $15 per person and are available at: Handlebar Motorsports, Basin Towing & Repair, Fender Menders, the La Plata County Fairgrounds, Durango Muffler, Bayfield Pharmacy and Walker’s Do It Best Hardware in Ignacio.
The derby will take place Aug. 10, with gates opening at 10 a.m. and the show beginning at noon. The La Plata County Fair will be held Aug. 7-11 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
