Regulation and two overtimes weren’t enough to decide the contest Thursday between the Durango boys soccer team and Pueblo West. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.

“It was a physical game,” said Pueblo West head coach Eric Young. “I think both teams played pretty well, but there weren’t a ton of chances for either team.”

Sam Carozza scored for the Demons.

After the draw, Durango moved to 2-0-1 overall while Pueblo West moved to 0-1-2.

The Demons will return to the pitch on Saturday when it hosts 5A Overland (2-0). The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
