It took a handful of Piedra Vista Panthers to bring down Tyler Worley and the Durango Demons’ football team last week at DHS Stadium. Piedra Vista wasn’t alone, either. Durango High School is 3-0 to start the season, with a 54-14 win over Cheyenne Mountain in its home and season opener, a 42-7 win at Kirtland Central, then a 35-3 home win over Piedra Vista on Friday. In a rare Thursday night football game, DHS will try for a 4-0 start against the Farmington Scorpions at 7 p.m. at Farmington.
