Playing on the road in the Southwestern League hasn’t suited the Durango High School volleyball team through two matches.

The Demons followed Friday’s loss at Montrose with a 3-1 (25-16, 17-25, 25-17, 25-22) loss Saturday at Fruita Monument.

Statistics weren’t immediately available.

Fruita Monument (8-5, 4-3 SWL) avenged a 3-1 loss at DHS (9-6, 2-2 SWL) earlier this season.

Durango will return home for its next match, a 6:30 p.m. showdown with regional rival Montezuma-Cortez on Thursday at DHS.
