Donald Trump is the very demagogue the Founding Fathers warned us about. He incites division and anger with lies and acts only for his own interest. He meets every diagnostic criteria for Narcissistic and Anti-Social (sociopath) personality disorders in the D.S.M.-V manual used by psychiatrists. He has sexually assaulted women, pathologically lies and grifts at any opportunity. He exploits people with no conscience, makes grandiose claims, lashes out like an impulsive child when he is angry and never has remorse. He and his company have been convicted of fraud.
Trump says he will pardon J6 inmates, some of whom assaulted 140 law enforcement officers. Judges and the DOJ are corrupt, U.S. intelligence agency assessments are rejected on the word of criminal Putin. He attacks veterans as suckers and POWs as losers.
Trump’s worst conduct was to push the Big Lie that the 2020 election was stolen after his own lawyers and government and campaign officials told him there was no evidence to support the claim. After inciting a mob to march to the Capitol, he watched the violent riot on television and incited further danger by tweeting that Pence was to blame by certifying the election. He watched the disaster for hours before he told his followers to leave the Capitol. What worse intentional conduct has a president ever committed against the country? Hundreds of years of the peaceful transfer of power abandoned for this scoundrel? How can anyone call themselves a “patriot” or a “Christian” and support this deranged self-serving fraud?
