Details in recent article were disgusting

I am not one of the readers that is quick to judge the writers for poor word choice, sentence structure or grammatical errors.

I am going to pass judgement on the Herald’s lack of discretion in the recent article about the sad situation with the three young men and the young women that was printed on Oct. 21, “Three men arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.”

There is absolutely no value in including so much vulgar detail in an article. You have stooped to a very low level to get people to read your “sensational” articles. As a reader, I was mortified by the content, which was pornographic in nature. As a parent, I am angry that you would allow that kind of material into the paper that is widely distributed in our schools for or kids to read and digest.

Not to mention that in a small town, where eventually there are few secrets, do you not have some responsibility to the victim of this horrible event to keep the details quiet?

The transparency in reporting was only for the self-serving gain of this paper. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted.
