Durango DEVO and The Powerhouse will host the 12th annual DEVO Halloween Bike Parade and Celebration from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday with the parade beginning at 4 p.m. at the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave., and the celebration beginning at 4:30 p.m. at The Powerhouse, 1333 Camino del Rio.
This is a free public event. Families are invited to dress up, hop on their bikes and parade down the Animas River Trail to The Powerhouse. Pre-K and younger riders will meet at Rotary Park.
Devo coaches will be on hand to supervise, but children must still be accompanied by a parent or guardian. After the parade, The Powerhouse will host a Halloween celebration featuring trick or treating, family activities and games provided for kids along with ice cream, food and fun for the whole family.
Silent auction and raffle proceeds will go toward supporting local DEVO riders and The Powerhouse intern program.
