The Durango High School boys swimming team is halfway toward a bronze finish at the Montrose Invitational.
The DHS Demons sit in third behind Montrose and Glenwood Springs after the first day of the meet. DHS is five points ahead of fourth-place Moffat County.
Swimming will resume Saturday morning at the Montrose Aquatic Center.
