Durango School District invites eighth grade students and their families to attend Eighth Grade Family Night from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Durango High School, 2390 Main Ave.
The evening will begin in the main gym with student-led presentations and a welcome from school leadership, offering families an inside look at student life and learning at DHS. Families will then have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions highlighting academics, programs and pathways available to students.
The central commons will be open throughout the evening and will feature clubs, activities and department tables, where families can ask questions, meet staff members and learn more about opportunities beyond the classroom.
