Durango Arts Center will host a two-part Dia de los Muertos craft workshop for children from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Oct. 25 and Oct. 26 at the Pine River Library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive in Bayfield.
Participants will build puppet skeletons on the first day and then decorate them the second day. These workshops will be part of the Day of the Dead educational community events leading up to the inaugural Festival de los Muertos in Durango. Skeletons from the workshop will be displayed in the entry to DAC for two weeks leading up to, during and after the festival.
