What an awful image of our city was projected by two inconsiderate drivers Saturday evening.
I followed two large pickup trucks from the intersection of Main Avenue and College Drive north to 12th street. At every intersection, and at every group of people on the sidewalks, these drivers stepped on the gas and poured heavy black diesel exhaust over everyone...yes, both drivers at every opportunity to “show off.”
Not only is this activity disrespectful, the exhaust is a health hazard. Our city must pass an ordinance outlawing this practice and then enforce it.
I’m sure many visitors on the receiving end of this exhaust “display” will not return to our city.
