Diggin’ it

Volunteers have been showing up Saturdays at Needham Elementary School to work on the community garden, building planter boxes, putting up fencing and doing other jobs, said Sandhya Tillotson, director of The Garden Project of Southwest Colorado, who is overseeing the project. Tillotson said Scapegoat Landscaping, Basin Coop, ProBuild and The Home Depot are helping. They plan to have 24 planter boxes, one for each classroom, when they’re done.
