Do not put ballots in 16-year-olds’ hands

The voting age should not be lowered to the 16 because the mind at age 16 is not fully developed to make such big decisions like voting for the man or woman who would become our president. Supporters say that denying those under age 18 a vote has denied them a basic right that is expected from being an American citizen. However, 16-year-olds are not adults. Also, 16-year-olds do not have the knowledge to make educated and smart decisions about who will run their country. Therefore, the voting age should not be lowered.
