I encourage you to educate yourself about both the positive and negative impacts of fluoride use. And the difference between naturally occurring fluoride and that which towns and municipalities apply to our water.
We have a chance here in Durango to end water fluoridation. This does not mean that fluoride is being taken away from our teeth. We can still reap any benefits of calcium fluoride by applying it directly to our teeth.
There is no need to ingest it. In fact, by ingesting it we are at risk of side effects.
Please, research it. And remember, when this goes to ballot in a few weeks, vote for opposing fluoride in our water!
