As a new resident, I would like to subscribe to The Durango Herald but the paper does not support a balanced view. You may disagree, but from articles I have read the vast majority of Herald staff, if not all, support a liberal point of view.
The tone of the articles referring to a political topic suggest a toxic environment where only liberal viewpoints are accepted. I believe both political parties have good points and the Herald would be worth supporting if both sides of the aisle were represented in a fair and collegial manner.
It just makes everything more interesting and beneficial when all viewpoints are represented equally and without bias.
