I walk daily in Durango because I don't want to add to climate change and traffic problems. I see people as they work in their yards or are getting in their vehicles. I usually say, ‘Hi’ and ask how their day is going.
Today, however, I stopped to talk with a neighbor and his dog. His dog is older and blind so he barks when people pass. Another neighbor, an elderly woman, started complaining about the dog as I passed.
So, here's to you Durango, your small town ugly vibe loses you to California, Pennsylvania, Salt Lake City, Washington, Oregon, and the rest of the 50 states.
If you are whining about a disabled dog or person you are a Nazi. You deserve the Nuremberg trials and to have every ounce of dog poop dumped in your yard. You are not my neighbor. I am ashamed of you and this town.
