The Dolores Rotary Club is lighting up the hillside in Dolores again as a show of community cooperation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Usually, the lights are lit up over Christmas and Easter, but the club decided the town could use the positive message now as well.
The Dolores Rotary Club hopes that when people see the lights, it will inspire compassion for their community and world during the crisis, said Rotary Club president Susan Lisak.
Empire Electric assisted in preparing the lights to go back on.
“They should be shining tonight,” Lisak said.
