Donations needed for Crane fundraisers

Aria Crane is a 12-year-old sweetheart who is battling Hodgkin's lymphoma for the second time in her short life. Aria is a 7th grader in Bayfield. Her dad Brian Crane is the information technology Director for the Ignacio School District. In 2010 she was diagnosed and went through six months of chemotherapy. She fought like a champion and beat it. Aria was clean for 18 months when she was diagnosed again in March of 2014, exactly two years to her first diagnosis.

Aria currently has gone through four months of harsh chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant to try and kill this cancer. She is undergoing eight weeks of radiation. She is currently not able to return home until she is medically cleared by her team of doctors. Aria has not been able to return home to Bayfield since July 2. Her family is hoping to have her home by December, but right now her return home is unknown. Aria is a fighter and an inspiration to all that she meets. She does not allow the bumps in the road to slow her down. She is an amazing young lady with high hopes for her future.

We are planning a couple of fund raisers for this family and could really use the support of our communities.

We are working on a family night to include a silent auction, so any items you may have to donate for that would be greatly appreciated. We are doing two booths and a bake sale at the Halloween carnival at the Sky Ute Casino Resort. We are looking for kids novelty toys, candy, treat bags to put candy in to use for prizes, baked goods and a couple people to help run games. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact miss.mandy20@yahoo.com.

Thank you for helping us help this amazing family.
