Durango Fire Protection District firefighters work to extinguish flames on a mobile on Wednesday south of Durango on Wheeler Loop.
Donations will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday for the Lucero family, which was displaced Wednesday after a fire destroyed its mobile home. Donations will be accepted at First Southern Baptist Church, 1715 West Second Ave. Items needed:
Men’s clothing: pants sizes 36/30 and 32/24; shirts sizes large and XXL. Boys clothing: pants size 12/14; shirts size XL. Women’s clothing: pants and shorts size 12; shirts size L and XL.
Gift cards also accepted.
