Durango Food Bank recently announced it will receive donations Saturday from the 26th annual U.S. Postal Service “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive.
La Plata County residents are encouraged to place nonperishable food items at mailboxes to be collected at Durango Post Office, dropped off at Durango Food Bank and distributed to those who struggle with food insecurity.
Last year’s drive collected and distributed 2,997 lbs. of food to residents.
