Our current president is using fearmongering to make us believe that what he calls “chain migration” is a threat to our country.
In reality, this is just a ploy he chooses to demonize certain immigrants based on the color of their skin or their religion.
Franklin D. Roosevelt said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” We need immigrant labor to sustain economic growth in the coming decades. Our members of Congress need to vote for humanity, not discrimination.
