The pathetic efforts by Christi Zeller, J. Paul Brown (Herald, May 11) and Ann McCoy Harold (Letters, May 8) to discredit Jeff Berman through personal attacks loaded with misinformation and unsubstantiated statements is typical of desperate right-wingers who can’t be bothered to use facts in their arguments. These three individuals are the ones who attempted to smear former county commissioner Wally White during his 2008 campaign when they sent out blast emails and provided “information” for a hoax newspaper that personally attacked White.
Berman is a highly competent, well-trained electrical engineer who has served our community well during his terms on the LPEA board. We need directors with vision, who are willing to tackle the status quo of the good old boys who still believe that coal is clean and climate change doesn’t exist. Berman can do this with his knowledge, experience and understanding of the importance of renewables in our future.
Don’t listen to the voices from the gutter. Support Jeff Berman for the LPEA board.
