The city of Durango and La Plata Electric Association have developed a draft Electric Vehicle Readiness Plan outlining strategies to increase EV adoption in Durango and contribute to shared carbon-reduction goals.
The plan was developed with grant funding from the Colorado Energy Office and the Colorado Department of Local Affairs. It gives the city and LPEA staff members, community leaders, businesses, residents, visitors and other stakeholders information about how to prepare for and accelerate local and regional EV adoption.
The draft plan and executive summary are available online at www.DurangoGov.org/EVready. Community members may provide feedback online until May 23.
