Drilling does not diminish hunting quality

I am a lifelong hunter. A long life, as I am 78 years old.

I grew up in West Texas. Many consider the area one of the best hunting areas in the U.S. I would agree.

Hunters come into the area from all over the United States to hunt white tail deer, turkey, quail, hogs and other animals. They come and pay significant dollars for the privilege of hunting in the area.

Not only is West Texas known as a hunters dream, it is also home to the Permian Basin. I have spent my hunting years, as do paying hunters from far and wide, in the oil patch. Wild game of all sorts quickly adapt to drilling rigs, tank batteries and constant traffic created by the oil fields.

Claims by the green folks that hunting is destroyed by commercial extraction of valuable assets from rural areas is flat incorrect.

Don’t believe me; book a hunt in West Texas. Enjoy a great hunt and learn the truth.
