The project for reliable drinking water in southwest La Plata County, funded by La Plata West Water Authority, was recently announced to be entering final design. A public information meeting will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Breen Grange Hall.
Subscribers were mailed a certificate letter to inform them of the July 10 deadline for property owners on Phase 1 water-line routes to sign up for the project. The letter also gives details about the estimated monthly base rate for tap fees.
