Numerous reports of crashes
While there don’t appear to be any serious injuries, as of 9:50 p.m. Friday, there had been numerous reports of vehicles in crashes because of icy roads.
Drivers should slow down as temperatures continue to drop to a forecasted low of 15 degrees overnight. While the storm is expected to move out in the next few hours, roads may remain icy through the night.
Crashes have taken place both in Durango and La Plata County in places as disparate as on North College and near Wildcat Canyon Road.
