Durango School District 9-R Board of Education is accepting letters of interest through Tuesday, and conducting interviews on Friday, to fill one two-year term vacancy on the Finance Advisory Committee.
The committee consists of volunteer community members, charged with assisting the school board in monitoring the financial condition of the district. This committee reports directly to the board, reviews the district’s financial statements and audits, provides assistance in the budgeting process, and analyzes specific financial issues upon request.
