Durango School District 9-R Board of Education will accept letters of interest through March 12 and will conduct interviews on March 15 to fill one two-year term vacancy on the Finance Advisory Committee.
The committee consists of volunteer community members charged with assisting the school board in monitoring the financial condition of the district. This committee reports directly to the board, reviews the district’s financial statements and audits, provides assistance in the budgeting process, and analyzes specific financial issues upon request.
