The City Council deserves credit for the Sustainability Action Plan for its internal operations. As reported in the Herald (Local Briefs, Aug. 11) the plan is “intended to elevate the city’s internal sustainability performance through implementing a strategic and systematic approach to enhancing organizational resiliency.” Wow! During my 25 years in corporate America, we were never able to string that many trendy buzzwords into a mission statement. Congratulations!
