The Durango Adult Education Center will hold its spring GED/HSE Graduation ceremony from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
The commencement speaker will be Lisa Rogers, a recent GED graduate. Graduates, their family, friends and the public are invited to attend.
The mission of the Durango Education Center, as a caring learning community, is to fill educational gaps by providing the skills and knowledge necessary for livable wage careers, post-secondary education and social and economic mobility.
