Durango Adult Education Center will host the Snowdown “Spellebration” adult spelling bee and fundraising event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 at the Henry Strater Theatre, 699 Main Ave.
Teams of three people are needed, and the cost is $200 per team.
The spelling bee will include 12 teams of three competing for the title “Out of This World Spelling Champion.”
Participants are encouraged to arrive in their best Intergalactic-themed costumes.
