Fourth-grade youth team wins FLC tournament
The Durango Bad Boys were just that, but bad in a good way, if you will.
The fourth-grade Durango Bad Boys youth basketball team won the six-team Mid American Youth Basketball tournament at Fort Lewis College last weekend, and they went 5-0 in winning their championship.
The pool-play results:
Durango 32, Bayfield Wildfire 12.
Durango 18, N.M. Silver Bullets (Pojoaque, N.M.) 13.
Durango 53, N.M. Eagles (Espanola, N.M.) 5.
Durango 46, Los Alamosa Slam 6.
Durango defeated the N.M. Silver Bullets 22-12 in the championship game.
