Durango Big Picture High School will host a Sneak Peek: Tour Big Picture’s New Building from 5 to 6 p.m. May 8 at 281 Sawyer Drive, Suite 300, in Bodo Park.
This event is open to families and students interested in enrolling for the 2026-27 school year. There will be a Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting event open to the public Sept. 15.
Visitors can take a self-guided tour, connect with Principal Samantha Tower and meet student representatives.
DBPHS is a public, nontraditional high school in Durango School District. DBPHS staff members will move into the newly renovated, permanent facility in August. The renovation project was made possible through community support of the 2024 Investing in Our Schools Bond.
