The Durango Bird Club will convene for its quarterly meeting at 6 p.m. Aug. 17 in Room 055 at Fort Lewis College’s Education Business Hall.
Dr. Preston Somers, emeritus professor of Biology at FLC, will give a presentation about birds of the Galapagos Islands: Journey to the Enchanted Isles.
The public is invited, and bird enthusiasts are particularly encouraged to attend to explore opportunities in the Durango Bird Club.
