The Durango BMX riders ruled at the state championship event in Dacono.
The team claimed six state championships and a slew of other podium finishes.
Nate Buswell won the state title in the men’s 36-40 age group. Diego Lopez was first in the age 16 intermediate division and Jacob Pinkerton was first in the 15 intermediate category. Jeremy Gretz also won in the age 12 intermediate race, while Orem Moore finished sixth in the same race.
Preston Loughman secured the state title for the age 9 intermediate riders. Noah Foutz claimed the state title and was first in the age 7 intermediate race, while teammate Graham Musgrave was sixth.
Leit Schafer earned a podium finish in the age 14 expert race, as he finished third.
Levi Musgrave also was third in the 5-and-under intermediate race.
Cody Buswell was third in the age 8 intermediate division, and teammate Grey Saren was sixth.
Cole Chism and Barrett Wilkinson added fourth-place finishes. Chism competed in the age 11 intermediate group, while Wilkinson competed in the 5-and-under novice category.
