Durango Botanic Gardens hosts discussion

Sarah Gleason of Gleason Bison will discuss how regenerative livestock management is good for the environment, healthy soil and thriving ecosystems from 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 14 at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.

Gleason is a first-generation bison rancher based in Hesperus. She entered ranching after building a career first in consumer marketing and later in advocacy for regenerative agriculture and conservation.

The discussion is hosted by Durango Botanic Gardens.
