Durango Botanical Society invites the community to attend the annual Gardens on Tour event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 22. The tour will start at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave., in the Durango Botanic Gardens and will continue on to seven private gardens around the Durango area.
This year’s theme is “Kick Ash Gardens,” honoring the brave men and women who fought last summer’s 416 Fire. DBS will be donating 10% of all proceeds to Durango Fire Protection District.
Tickets are $25 for nonmembers and $20 for DBS members. Tickets may be purchased at the library on June 22 or online at www.durangobotanicalsociety.com. Pick up tickets on June 22 at the south side of the library and tour the new Arboretum.
